Mosaic is one of the techniques in image processing. It is an artistic form in making small structured pictures, which is called tile. Along with the advance of computer technology, computer scientists and artists have tried to make mosaic by using computers. Based on the fact that nearby image has relationship, so that it is likely that a pixel which is close to the pixel A will have the same or nearly the same value as that of the pixel A. Therefore, there are many ways of making pictures for color blindness, among other thing, vector quantization-based, where for the segmentation of image objects, in which the input quantization probability distribution of vector is done based on the codebook vector. Based on arguments above, the purpose of this study is to produce unique/different style of color-blindness test, called BowoLee color-blindness using vector quantization. It means that the result of color blindness images can be controlled according to the requirement. The conclusion is that parameter value K and BS, will produce a mosaic style of unique color-blindness, K ethical value of the parameter K is small, more dominant spatial feature than the color feature, hence the cluster of each codebook vector continues as projected onto the image, if the value of the parameter K larger, color feature is more dominant than spatial features, so many clusters are split when projected onto the image. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.
