This study discusses about the relational reasoning of prospective teachers in solution of mathematics problem. The descriptor including: understanding problems, planning the strategy to solve the problem, doing the strategy to solve the problem, and evaluating the solution. The 100 prospective teachers answered to the questions and a series of semi-structured interviews. The result showed that most prospective teachers who had highly capable can do the four steps in mathematics problem-solving include understanding problems, planning the strategy to solve the problem, doing the strategy to solve the problem, and evaluating the solution. © IJSTR 2019.
