Abstract

The increasingly sophisticated multimedia it technology in Internet has led to the need for data security, including copyright protection and data integrity detection that have created significant problems. One solution to achieve data security is the digital watermarking technique, which embeds hidden information or confidential data into the host image. Fragile watermarking is one of a digital watermarking technique designed to detect slight changes to the watermark. This technique is widely used for the authentication process. To spread the neighboring pixels of the image to a mostly dispersed location, we use a chaotic map. The most important aspect of chaotic map is their maximum sensitivity to the initial conditions and their spreading behavior throughout image space. This paper emphasizes the ability of chaotic maps using a linear block mapping techniques in spatial domains. The results obtained showed that watermarked image results are better when compared to a linear block mapping techniques, which has demonstrated through the PSNR value. © 2018 IEEE.
