Abstract

Local wisdom is one of the topics that continues to grow in Indonesia. This can be integrated into one of the demands of the 21st century, namely scientific literacy. This study aims to explore the potential of local wisdom in Lamongan Regency to be used as a test instrument. The collection of data used in this study is an analytical study and indirect observation. Data search is done by looking for as many sources of information as possible through scientific studies, journal articles, or trusted sources. The results of this study found some local wisdom in Lamongan which can be used as a scientific literacy test instrument. In addition, it also states what physics concepts are contained in this local wisdom. The research results obtained can be used as a test instrument to measure students' literacy skills. In addition, it can also provide examples of contextual questions so that students can interpret the questions being worked on. In addition, it can be a reference for schools or teachers in developing scientific literacy test instruments based on local wisdom. © 2026 Author(s).
