Creativity is a comprehensive concept involving complex cognitive processes such as perception, sensitivity and flexibility, which are commonly used in our daily lives. The design of this study is adapted from the model of Educational Research and Development, and features expert assessment of five key components, or activities, of the proposed model. Instrument validation was achieved with results showing 3 activities (60%) to be very valid, 2 activities (40%) to be moderately valid and no activities as invalid. Following validation, pre-and post-testing was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the model's activities on creative thinking skills in children aged 4-5 years. This study is expected to develop the play motion activities learning model to enhance early childhood creative thinking. © 2019 Primrose Hall Publishing Group.
