The learning of multi-frequency signals, such as modulated signals or noise-distorted signals, is usually done with the help of simulation. However, not all of the signals generated by a simulation program can be observed practically on hardware. Standard function generators on the market usually can only produce preset waveforms which cannot be modified. This research aims to create an arbitrary waveform generated by simulation to be observed using an oscilloscope. This waveform generator is explicitly intended to support signal processing learning. This low-cost waveform generator can produce multi-frequency signals with high sampling precision and linearity using the Arduino-Simulink platform. © 2021 IEEE.
