Character education is essential in developing individuals to become quality and ethical. Character education in physics learning plays a central role in forming students into competent scientists and individuals with superior and responsible personalities. In this context, Tut Wuri Handayani's local wisdom is an essential foundation for designing a learning approach that is holistic and rooted in local cultural values. Therefore, this article was written to analyze exploring literature sources according to character education in the physics learning process in the field of physics. This research uses a literature review method, where the literature review method collects data from reviewing articles and journals online. Then, from the journals or online articles, those relevant to the title of this scientific article are selected, and the contents of the journal or article are reviewed. From the data collection results in this article, the term Tut Wuri Handayani emphasizes the teacher's role in the teaching and learning process. Where, teachers have the role of bridging parents and students to monitor student progress in the learning process. Therefore, it is crucial to shape students' character, morals, and ethics in physics through the various tasks given. © 2025 Author(s).
