Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, educators are expected to integrate technology into the learning process. Technological advancements provide opportunities to enhance learning quality, particularly through the use of computer-and Android-based learning tools. One such tool is the Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD). This study aims to evaluate the feasibility and appeal of an E-LKPD designed using the Predict-Observe-Explain (POE) model and PhET simulations, specifically for teaching the kinetic theory of gases to 11th-grade students. The research employed the ADDIE development model. The findings indicate that the E-LKPD received a "highly feasible"rating from experts, with material experts scoring it at 83% and media experts at 85%. Educators responded positively with a 92.3% approval rate, while student feedback on its appeal was also favorable, 92.38% in the small group trial and 89.13% in the field test. Overall, the POE-based E-LKPD utilizing PhET is considered highly feasible and engaging, making it a suitable learning medium. © 2026 Author(s).
