Pencak Silat is one of the relics of Indonesia's ancestors that must be preserved. One form of preservation is to provide a touch of technology so that the younger generation can learn it easily. Including the technology used during training and matches. This study aims to propose a new approach in identifying punches and kicks in Pencak Silat, considering that punches and kicks are the basis for determining scores in matches. The stages carried out in this research are hardware design, software design, feature extraction, fuzzy logic design, and the trial stage. In identifying punches and kicks, the fuzzy method is used. The data used in this system is 200 primary data, which consists of 100 punches and 100 kicks which are done randomly. Evaluation process have been carried out and obtained an accuracy value of 99.5%, meaning that from 200 data there is 1 data that is incorrectly identified. In addition, it is supported by the area under the curve value obtained from the receiver operating characteristic curve, the value obtained is 0.995. Based on the criteria for the value of the area under the curve, the value is classified as excellent system performance. This system is expected to be a decision support system for referees and judges in determining scores in Pencak Silat matches. In addition, it can be used to improve performance when athletes train before a match. © 2022 IEEE.
