Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing and producing an assessment book for the Mathematics Education Study Program that is valid, practical, effective and ready to be used for assessment lectures. This is a development research. The subjects of this research are assessment lecturer and students who are joining in assessment lectures. The research instruments are: (a) validation sheet, (b) questionnaire sheet, (c) assignment sheet and (d) test questions. The process of developing this assessment book used a development model modified by Plomp which consists of three phases, namely: (1) Preliminary Research Phase, (2) Development or Prototyping Phase, and (3) Assessment Phase. Meanwhile, product quality in the form of book is measured using Nieveen's criteria, which consist of (1) validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research showed that assessment book met valid, practical, and effective criteria, and it is ready to be used. So, it should be implemented in the next assessment lectures. © 2022 Author(s).
