Abstract

The 2021 PON XX Papua Indonesia is a moment for athletes to show themselves in the sports field. The ability of an athlete is influenced by the need for balanced nutrition. Guidance is needed for athletes and athlete managers to apply balanced nutrition to excel. This study designed an application that was then analyzed for its effectiveness in implementing balanced nutrition in the form of an Android-based Athlete's Buddy application. The assessment method used in this application is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) method. The results of the discussion stated that 85% of application was very feasible to use. Testing applications based on UTAUT2 with indicators of Understand ability, Learnability, Operability, Functionality, Content. So it can be concluded that the "Athlete's Buddy"application can run well and is expected to be able to help the community and athletes to increase their knowledge, help athletes to control and know the nutrients needed by the body. The implication of this research is the application of digital literacy for athletes in maintaining balanced nutrition. © 2023 Author(s).
