Abstract

Erbium-doped tellurite glasses with the composition of TZPBNE with the variation of PbO/Na2O and Er2O3 synthesized and explored its properties. This paper focused on exploring the comparison of TZPBNE glasses optical properties through UV-Vis-NIR study. Optical absorption data has been recorded using a double beam spectrophotometer in the UV-Vis-NIR wavelength range (200-1100 nm) with a scan rate of 1 nm/s. Absorption occurs in the wavelength range 350 nm to 1000 nm. Generally, variation of PbO/Na2O in this composition increases the optical absorption value on TZPBNE glass. However, there is a difference in the trend of the optical absorption graph and the absorption peak in the two composition variations. © 2023 Author(s).
