Abstract

Misconceptions about the concept of temperature often arise among students, resulting in errors in understanding and applying the concept practically. This study aims to analyze various misconceptions that occur around temperature material and develop learning strategies that can overcome them. The methodology used is a literature study, including searching and analyzing related sources such as articles, books, and previous studies. The results of the study indicate that misconceptions about temperature are very common and vary, from incorrect understanding of basic concepts to application errors in different contexts. Novelty these findings provide valuable insights for educators to design more effective learning strategies in overcoming misconceptions about temperature material, thereby improving students' conceptual understanding of the school environment. © 2026 Author(s).
