This study aims to identify public sentiment toward digital sharia pawnshop application in Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method with a sentiment analysis approach with the help of orange data mining. The data used are reviews of the Pegadaian sharia digital application from the google play store taken from January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2024. The total review data used in this study is 2.786 reviews. The results showed that the three most frequently occurring words are 'aplikasi', ''pengguna', and 'Google. In addition, reviews are dominated by statements that have positive (1,258 reviews) where there are various words describing the beneficial features provided by the app such as 'emas', 'membantu', 'tabungan', 'transaksi', 'cepat', and ''pembayaran'. On the other hand, there are also some words that have a tendency to have negative sentiments (794 reviews) such as 'error', 'susah', dan 'gagal'. This research is limited by the use of google play store review data from three years ago, before the release of Pegadaian sharia digital application. For future research, researchers advise reidentifying the sentiment of the Pegadaian sharia digital application after 3 years, 4 years, etc., to compare sentiment changes. © 2024 IEEE.
