Abstract

The robot chassis has an important role in supporting all given static loads. The load given should not reduce the robot's performance when it is running. The vehicle chassis must also meet the safety factor in the design. The safety factor is the ratio of the allowable stress to the stress that occurs when given a load. This research is a static load simulation research, namely by conducting a static load testing centered on the Paramedic Assistant Robot Chassis. This method is used to measure the level of chassis strength and the value of stress, displacement, strain and FOS based on the load received. The chassis is designed to have a maximum payload of 200kg. The stress value on the chassis does not exceed the value of its yield strength, namely 1.522-3.045 N/mm ^ 2 (Mpa). The yield strength value for SS 304 material is 206, 807 N/mm ^ 2 (Mpa). So that the robot chassis is safe to use up to a maximum load of 200 kg. The value of the Factor of Safety (FOS) is categorized as safe if the value is more than 1 (> 1). The FOS value of this chassis design is 12, 667. Then for the displacement on the chassis the value is quite small, namely 0.012-0.045 mm.
