Digital technology has fundamentally transformed entrepreneurship education, yet the field remains fragmented with limited systematic mapping and weak theoretical foundations. This study analyzes the research trends, maps the current landscape, identifies the opportunities, and provides recommendations for future research on digital technology in entrepreneurship education. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA methodology, analyzing 28 peer-reviewed documents from the Scopus database published between 2020 and 2025. Data were analyzed using bibliometric analysis through VOSviewer software to identify co-occurrence patterns, thematic clusters, and citation networks. The results reveal three evolutionary phases: emergency response phase (2020-2021) dominated by Computer Sciences, pedagogical consolidation phase (2022-2023) shifting toward Social Sciences focus, and multidisciplinary integration phase (2024-2025) with balanced contributions. Four major clusters emerged: digitalization and innovation, digital learning, e-learning and digital entrepreneurship, and implementation in higher education. The most influential research by Garcez et al. (2022) received 61 citations. Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality are increasingly utilized to create immersive learning experiences. Digital skills have evolved from supplementary to core competencies. The study concludes that digital technology integration requires comprehensive pedagogical frameworks, enhanced institutional readiness, faculty capacity development, and stronger industry collaboration to bridge the academic-industry gaps. © 2026 The Authors.
