Machine learning is an advanced technology in this era. In its development, accurate calculations related to complexity must be carefully considered. One of the methods used is the use case points (UCP) calculation model. By using literature review and bibliometric tool, the results of using this model in machine learning development can be analyzed. It can be concluded that this calculation model is very useful in assessing the complexity of machine learning. However, there are still shortcomings that need to be refined in its usage. Therefore, further step and development are required, as seen in the design of deep learning technology. © 2024 IEEE.
