The service sector has witnessed a surge in flexible work arrangements, prompting the exploration of time management technology's impact on efficiency and adaptable work environments. This research employs a bibliometric analysis with a qualitative approach through literature review. Data will be sourced from the Scopus database and analyzed using bibliometric mapping and content analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of how time management technology influences time flexibility in the service sector. This study aims to identify emerging opportunities and challenges, focusing on the gap between existing research and the specific needs of IT-enabled business process reengineering (BPR). The analysis will explore how technology can optimize flexible work practices without compromising employee well-being and organizational integrity. By integrating insights from bibliometric analysis and recommendations for optimal technology use, this study will contribute valuable knowledge for organizations seeking to leverage technology for improved time management in a flexible work environment. © 2024 IEEE.
