This research aims to i.) analyze network visualization and overlay visualization of augmented reality and local wisdom augmented reality in physics learning research ii.) analyze the distribution of augmented reality and local wisdom augmented reality media in physics learning research iii.) analyze trends and opportunities of local wisdom augmented reality research based on the Scopus database. This study using bibliometrics used two keywords in the Scopus database there are Augmented Reality and Local Wisdom Augmented Reality. Based on the result and discussion network visualization Augmented Reality (AR) is defined into 8 Categorys and Local Wisdom Augmented Reality (AR) is defined into 12 Categorys. Based on overlay visualization the newest topic related to Augmented Reality (AR) and Local Wisdom Augmented Reality (AR) research both in critical thinking. Augmented Reality (AR) research in physics learning increased over 7 years coinciding with local wisdom Augmented Reality (AR) research beginning in 2016. Journal of Physics Conference Series is the most contributing source. The trend of local wisdom Augmented Reality (AR) is about an android application in learning batik and the Implementation of local wisdom Augmented Reality (AR) in physics subjects has less carried out and needs to come. © 2026 Author(s).
