The local wisdom of Karapan sapi is the original culture of the land of Madura, which can make it easier for students to learn and accept and understand the physics material presented, so that there is a potential in its development which is then studied in this study. The purpose of this research is to analyse the potensial of developing a local wisdom of Madura karapan sapi as teaching material in supporting physics learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research using literature studies and bibliometric analysis. The research was conducted by studying literature, with the object of research is the local wisdom of Madura in the form of karapan sapi. The application of local wisdom in learning can be carried out by developing a teaching material to assist the implementation of learning. From the bibliometric data obtained, it is known that local wisdom is related to learning. Karapan sapi which is a local wisdom has the potential to be integrated with learning. There is a potential in developing teaching materials based on local wisdom of Madura cow karapan to be applied in physics learning. © 2024 Author(s).
