Every person has different problem-solving processes in daily life, especially males and females in mathematics. Problem-solving is an important thing that everyone should possess. This research aims to describe the profile of prospective teachers’ Creative Self-Efficacy to the Problem-solving skills of mathematics problems with sex differences. This study describes the profile of students’ Creative Self-Efficacy in solving math problems based on gender differences. The subjects in this study were mathematics students in semester III at the University of Muhammadiyah Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. Data collection Methods using math problem-solving ability tests, Creative Self-Efficacy questionnaires, and interviews. Data mining was carried out in-depth with sources of Problem-solving and then semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out first by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation, and finally, drawing conclusions and data verification. The results of this research showed that the prospective teachers have high self-efficacy to be able to by every Polya stage on applying the concept of triangle geometry. In applying the spatial concept, female students tend to have high creative self-efficacy toward mathematical problem-solving abilities. When viewed from all dimensions of creative self-efficacy, female students tend to be able to go through every stage of solving math problems, according to Polya. Male students tend to have creative self-efficacy in the medium category towards mathematical Problem-solving abilities and only tend to be able to go through 3 stages of solving mathematical problems, according to Polya. So that Creative Self-Efficacy can be used to see the readiness of prospective mathematics teachers to introduce the concept of triangles to students. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
