Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of temperature differences on electric voltage and determine the Seebeck coefficient in making a tool, namely a Thermoelectric Generator. The experimental variables used in this experiment were Peltier and dynamo-type control variables, ice temperature manipulation variables on the cold side, and voltage and propeller speed response variables. The type of Peltier used is TEG-SP1848-27145 SA and a 5V dynamo. This experiment was carried out by connecting the peltier to a dynamo and placing objects on both sides of the peltier with different temperatures. The objects used in this experiment were fire originating from candles for the hot part and ice for the cold part. Based on the experiments that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the greater the temperature difference, the greater the electric voltage. The lower the temperature on the cold side, the greater the speed of the propeller. © 2024 Author(s).
