Cooling the battery array used in electric vehicles is needed so that the battery pack can work optimally as a power source and last a long time. In this study the temperature distribution of the battery arrays in the battery pack was carried out using a numerical method, with the battery arrays configured staggered starting from an angle of 00 (in-line) to 300 with an interval of 100. With the help of Ansys software, the battery arrays that have been made domain 3D run by the RANS method using the k-ω SST turbulence model. The simulation results show that the staggered 300 arrangements have the lowest temperature distribution value compared to the other three variation arrangements. © 2024 American Institute of Physics Inc..
