Nonpharmacological interventions are increasingly recognized as safe and practical approaches for managing pain in children undergoing medical procedures. This study used bibliometric analysis to analyze global research trends, collaborations, and focus areas related to nonpharmacological interventions in pediatric pain management. Data were collected from the Scopus database and analyzed using various software tools. The results showed a significant increase in publications over the last two decades, with distraction techniques and touch therapy being the most researched methods. The United States, China, and Australia dominated the research output, whereas developing countries, including Indonesia, had limited contributions. Network analysis revealed a strong collaboration between the United States and other developed countries. Three main research focus areas were identified: pharmacological interventions, nonpharmacological interventions, and complementary therapies. Potential research gaps and novel areas were highlighted, such as the application of digital technologies and the combination of nonpharmacological and pharmacological approaches. These findings have implications for nursing practice, education, and health policies, emphasizing the importance of non-pharmacological interventions in pediatric pain management. Future research should explore innovative strategies and collaborations to enhance these methods’ effectiveness and widespread adoption in various health care settings. © 2025 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
