The Radon transform is a mathematical concept that plays a crucial role in technology development. In its theory, there are two fundamental properties of the Radon transform. These are essential mapping properties of the Radon transform. Over time, the concept of the Radon transform has been generalized into the weighted Radon transform. However, its essential properties have not yet been thoroughly investigated. In this paper, we aim to describe two essential mapping properties of the weighted Radon transform. Through a literature review, we will construct these properties by utilizing related theorems and proving them logically and mathematically, thereby establishing the two essential mapping properties of the weighted Radon transform. © 2025 Author(s).
