Abstract

Vocational education is crucial in producing students who are prepared for the workforce. The problem that occurs is the still high unemployment rate of vocational school graduates. This study aims to analyze the employability skills of vocational school students for career sustainability. This study is an evaluation study with respondents of students of SMK Negeri 1 Kemlagi Mojokerto in the final year. Data collection used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study are as follows. (1) The employability skills of vocational school students seen from communication skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and teamwork skills are included in the good criteria; (2) The highest score is in teamwork skills, while the lowest score is communication skills; (3) The employability skills of vocational school students still need to be improved because the average percentage of ability scores is still below 80%. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2025.
