Glocal Wisdom is introduced as a conceptual synthesis that unites Glocalization and Local Wisdom within the broader framework of sustainable development. It represents a hybrid model that combines indigenous cultural values with global influences to address local needs as well as global challenges. The study investigates Glocal Wisdom through a bibliometric analysis and literature review. The primary source was data obtained from the Scopus database (covering articles up to 2024) and subsequently from Google Scholar as a secondary source. The analysis was supported by qualitative coding and interpretive examination of selected texts. The results show strong conceptual links among Sustainable Development, Local Wisdom, Glocalization, and Education, underlining the integrated possibilities of this new framework. The study concludes that Glocal Wisdom provides a globally applicable yet culturally grounded approach for advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By providing a theoretical basis for incorporating local identities into global policy agendas, this study contributes to the scholarly debate on inclusive development especially on community resilience, government, and education. © 2025 The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.
